On Wednesday, March 4, we had the pleasure of hosting our annual Apprentice Welcome & Graduation Evening at our Regency Park dealership.

Throughout the evening, we officially welcomed our newest Apprentices while recognising the achievements of those who had recently completed their Apprenticeships or undertaken additional upskilling.

The night began with guests arriving at the South Road dealership, where a purpose-built marquee, a lineup of Hino trucks and perfect weather set the scene for a wonderful night of celebration. Team members from our Lonsdale and Regency Park dealerships, Apprentices and their loved ones took the opportunity to catch up while enjoying freshly made wood-fired pizzas, charcoal-grilled skewers and refreshing drinks, courtesy of Orlando Catering.

Wendy Fletcher-Annett, Service Administration Manager at CMI Hino Adelaide, kicked off the evening’s formalities with a warm welcome to all guests.

“On behalf of CMI Hino Adelaide, I’d like to warmly welcome you all and thank you for joining us for our annual Apprentice Welcome and Appreciation Evening. It’s wonderful to see everyone here tonight to support and celebrate our Apprentices.”

Wendy then introduced Lonsdale Service Manager, Dylan Arbon, who shared encouraging words with the Apprentices.

“Starting my career at CMI Hino Adelaide as an Apprentice gave me the foundation to grow within the business and develop my skills as a Heavy Diesel Technician. It’s been a rewarding journey, and I hope my story encourages our Apprentices to make the most of the opportunities ahead of them”, shared Dylan.

We then heard from newly appointed Regency Park Service Manager, Jarad Duncan. Jarad reflected on his more than twenty years with the broader CMV Group and shared insights from his experience within the business.

“You won’t just get a job with CMI Hino Adelaide, you’ll get a supportive lifestyle and a fulfilling career,” Jarad said, highlighting the opportunities and supportive culture that come with being part of the CMI Hino Adelaide team.
